“Pathibhara Cable Car: A Milestone for Taplejung’s Development and Prosperity, Says FNCCI President Chandra Dhakal”

Speaking at an event organized by the Taplejung Concern Center in Kathmandu on Friday, Dhakal highlighted that the construction of the cable car in Pathibhara will not only benefit Taplejung but also contribute to the development of the entire Koshi Province and Nepal as a whole. He urged all stakeholders to offer necessary support to complete the project on time.

100% Employment for Locals

Dhakal reaffirmed his commitment to providing 100% employment opportunities for locals in the Pathibhara Cable Car project. While the struggle committee demanded a guarantee of 80% local employment, Dhakal stated that the project would prioritize locals in the workforce.

Investment in Domestic Tourism

He also stressed the importance of prioritizing domestic investment to promote tourism and economic growth. According to Dhakal, focusing on domestic investment is crucial for attracting foreign investment and improving infrastructure. He added that developing tourism infrastructure, like the Pathibhara Cable Car, will create jobs, boost business activities, and increase revenue.

Dhakal clarified that the cable car project is not for personal gain but for the overall development of Taplejung and the nation’s tourism industry. He expressed his readiness to discuss and provide any additional services or facilities to locals, children, and senior citizens through the cable car system.

Nationwide Tourism and Employment Initiative

Dhakal mentioned plans to construct cable cars in all seven provinces of Nepal as part of an initiative to promote tourism and create employment opportunities across the country. He emphasized that such projects will play a significant role in developing Nepal’s tourism industry.

The Pathibhara Cable Car project, which has completed all required processes, is expected to be finished within 15 months of its commencement. Dhakal highlighted that the project is not only an investment by the IME Group and himself but also an asset for Pathibhara, Taplejung, Koshi Province, and Nepal.

In conclusion, Dhakal emphasized the role of tourism infrastructure in job creation, business activities, and revenue growth, noting that the Pathibhara Cable Car will play a key role in enhancing tourism and local development. He reaffirmed his commitment to providing maximum employment opportunities to locals and ensuring that the project serves the community.
