Khalti collaborated with LIC Nepal to enable its users to pay insurance premiums digitally.

After collaboration with the majority of life and non-life Insurance companies, Khalti has added a new feature of insurance payment of LIC Nepal through its platform which is expected to make premium payment more simple and convenient.

To pay the premium users need to visit LIC Nepal’s website and complete the payment procedure choosing Khalti as the payment method.

According to Binay Khadka, Chief Executive Director of Khalti,

“Addition of LIC Nepal to our network has been a major milestone for us to make premium collection simpler and efficient, I am confident that users will be benefited to the fullest extent from this collaboration.”

User shall verify their KYC if the insurance premium is above Rs. 5000. After KYC verification, users can enjoy a wide range of offers and services.

Recently recognized with the Start-up Success award, Khalti is on its 6th year of service. It has positioned itself as a young, trendy, and innovative brand in Nepal’s fintech industry.

Currently, it has 2.3 million+ users throughout the country alongside a 50K+ Agent network.

From Khalti, users can Top-Up their phone, and TV, pay their internet bills, insurance premiums, Government Revenues, Waste Management Bills, buy domestic flight tickets, book movie tickets, and many more.
