The People’s Socialist Party, Nepal (PSPN) has taken a significant step towards modernizing its outreach and communication strategies with the official formation of its Central Information Technology (IT) Cell.
Under the decisive leadership of Chairman Upendra Yadav, the People’s Socialist Party, Nepal (PSPN) is aggressively embracing information technology, rapidly mobilizing its newly formed Central IT Cell. Leading this crucial initiative is Mahesh Chaurasiya, who has been appointed as the chief of the newly established Central IT Cell. In addition to this leadership role, Chaurasiya will also serve as the Secretary of the party’s Department of Information, Communication, Science, and Technology.
The decision to form the Central IT Cell and appoint its chief was finalized during a key meeting held on Monday at the PSPN’s central office in Balkumari. The meeting, presided over by Jitendra Yadav, saw party General Secretary Lalbabu Raut as the chief guest, underscoring the importance the party places on this digital transformation.
According to Department Head Jitendra Yadav, the primary goal behind forming the 33-member Central IT Cell under Mahesh Chaurasiya’s leadership is to bridge the gap between the party and the public through effective use of digital platforms. This strategic move is designed to modernize internal party structures and ensure the efficient promotion of PSPN’s ideologies and critical issues across various social media channels.
The Department of Information and Communication, which now oversees the Central IT Cell, has also been expanded to an 18-member team, bringing together a diverse group of individuals to drive the party’s digital agenda.
Key members appointed to the department include Pradeep Ghatan, Musahid Husain, Rasna Yadav, Iman Rai, Manoj Kumar Yadav, Amarendra Yadav, Renuraj Singh, and Ajay Verma. Additionally, Abharendra Yadav, Vinit Yadav, Gautam Yadav, Om Yadav (Manish), Prabhat Kumar Singh (Pintu), Shyam Yadav, Dipu Kapar, and Kamlesh Yadav have been nominated as department members, reflecting a broad-based approach to digital engagement.
This new IT Cell is expected to play a vital role in the People’s Socialist Party, Nepal’s future communication efforts, ensuring its message reaches a wider audience in the digital age.
