DRS Gaming from Nepal has won the PUBG Mobile Pro League (PMPL) Season 3 2021 South Asia Final.
DRS secured the championship by scoring 273 points in the final 24 games. DRS has received $10,000 USD in addition to the title.
DRS is the PMPL 2020’s runner-up team. This year, DRS has 158 placement points and 115 skill points. With total points of 273, they have won the championship.
Mongolia’s Zeus Esport finished second with 271 points after dominating the South Asian team. Zeus currently holds 142 kill points and 129 placement points. Zeus has won $6,500 in cash.
The PMPL final represented 16 teams in total. There were 8 Nepali teams, 3/3 teams from Bangladesh and Pakistan, and 2 teams from Mongolia. The team that finished in the top two of the PMPL final has been chosen to represent PEI in 2021. Similarly, the top nine teams competed in the championship final.
Six Nepali teams have managed to remain in the top 9 places of PMPL. As Nepal’s Skylight Gaming is last year’s PMPL champion, it has automatically received an invitation for the championship. The skylight was in 15th place in the final.
In the final, Nepali teams have secured seventh place, dead eye guys fourth, and train to kill fifth place. These teams have won $5000, $4,000t, and $3,750 US dollars respectively.
