In a significant move to enhance customer benefits, an agreement has been signed between Himal Hospital, located in Dnyaneshwar, Kathmandu, and Prabhu Bank Limited.

This partnership will provide special discounts to Prabhu Bank’s customers and employees on various hospital services.

The memorandum of understanding was signed during a ceremony by Navin Tamli, Managing Director of Himal Hospital, and Rabindra Dhakal, Chief Market Management Officer of Prabhu Bank. Other notable attendees included Dina Chitrakar, Sabin Rana, and Rajendra K.C., Chief Administrative Officer of Himal Hospital.

According to the agreement, Prabhu Bank customers, card users, employees, and their family members will receive a 10% to 20% discount on services such as Radiology, Pathology, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, and up to 10% on surgery fees. Discounts also apply to OPD tickets for both internal and external services at Himal Hospital. To avail these discounts, bank customers must present a valid debit card, credit card, or privilege card from Prabhu Bank at the hospital.

Himal Hospital, originally established as Thapa Nursing Home in Biratnagar in 1978 and rebranded in 1988, is the second private hospital in Nepal. It has been providing continuous quality healthcare services, including emergency treatment, intensive care, and pain management. The hospital offers regular health check-ups, consultations, and treatment services through various health check-up packages.

Prabhu Bank, a leading bank in Nepal recently awarded the title of “Bank of the Year 2023,” operates 302 branch offices, 285 ATMs, and 70 extension counters across the country, serving over 31 million customers.
