In response to the devastating floods, landslides, and inundation caused by continuous rainfall in the second week of October, Prabhu Group has donated NPR 175 million to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund of Nepal.

The donation comes from various entities under the Prabhu Group, including Prabhu Bank Limited, Prabhu Mahalakshmi Life Insurance Limited, Prabhu Capital Limited, and Prabhu Insurance Limited, as part of their corporate social responsibility.

On 21st Ashwin 2081 (October 7, 2024), Prabhu Group’s Chairman, Honorable Mr. Devi Prakash Bhattachan, handed over a cheque of NPR 175 million to Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli during a formal ceremony.

The contribution is expected to assist in the rescue, treatment, and rehabilitation efforts of those affected by floods and landslides.

Prabhu Group expressed its wishes for the swift recovery of the injured citizens and extended heartfelt condolences to the families who have lost their loved ones, hoping they find the strength to endure this difficult time.
