IEPAN Elects Lakshman KC as President, Sets Ambitious Study in Nepal Agenda

Mr. Lakshman KC, a prominent figure in the educational landscape and the Executive Chairman of the Presidential Business School, has been elected as the President of IEPAN.

The International Education Providers Association of Nepal (IEPAN) has successfully concluded its Annual General Meeting, culminating in the election of a new executive leadership team.

This committee is set to drive the vision and initiatives of IEPAN for the upcoming term. The elected members of the committee include Dr. Mithlesh Kumar Jha as Senior Vice President, Bigyan Shrestha as Vice President, Restha Jha as General Secretary, Rital Rana as Secretary, and Shailaja Adhikari as Treasurer.

In a move aimed at fostering strategic growth, Tej Dhakal, Yogesh Upreti, Ravi Phuyal, and Praveena Thapa have been chosen as members of the committee.

Additionally, Samir Thapa and Pankaj Jalan have been elected as advisors to the committee, with Samir Thapa transitioning from the outgoing presidency to assume this role.

The newly elected executive leadership is set to embark on an ambitious agenda with a strong focus on the “Study in Nepal” campaign.

This campaign aims to both retain Nepalese students and attract international students to study in Nepal.

By leveraging the diverse range of local and world-class university programs available in Nepal, the initiative seeks to position Nepal as a premier destination for education. The goal is to bolster the growth of education tourism, enhancing Nepal’s reputation as a flourishing hub for academic pursuits.

With Mr. Lakshman KC at the helm, IEPAN is poised for a dynamic phase of growth and transformation. As the President, KC brings a wealth of experience and a visionary approach to guide the association toward its goals.

The IEPAN leadership’s dedication to the “Study in Nepal” campaign holds the promise of a brighter and more globally connected future for Nepal’s education sector.
