Great news! You can now print designs online. PrintNep – an online printing platform is ready to operate in the Nepali market.
This is not a completely new business. It is rather a revamped version of a 17-year-old printing company DG Flex. This venture is a typical example of how technology-based business is the need of the hour.
Especially after the COVID19 pandemic, traditional business models are adopting new ways to cope with the challenges brought into our lives.
The new generation, especially, has well understood the need of the hour. Similar is the case here. It was Sailendra Pandey’s idea to take his family business to an online platform. He is now working tirelessly to transform DG Flex into a new age printing phenomenon in Nepal.
Shailendra says that online printing is a very new concept in Nepal’s e-commerce market. He claims that PrintNep Nepal is the only and the first online printing e-commerce. “We have been in the printing business for 17 years”, he says.
“We are a printing production company. PrintNep contains advertising materials and promotional items, cups, flex, outdoor, and indoor signage”, said Pandey, founder, and CEO of PrintNep.
Now anyone can go to Shailendra’s new platform PrintNep’s website from anywhere and design their favorite flex and printing.
Shailendra says that their aim is to facilitate the service recipients by shortening the long process from the online printing system.
How does the online printing work?
- First, You can design on your own using the main template and the pre-designed template on PrintNep’s website.
- Secondly, you can select various templates that are already designed. If you like, you can change your name, description, and logo in the template.
- Live design can also be done through video conferencing or Gmail.
Shailendra says that online printing is not more expensive than traditional printing. “We’ve been working out for two or three years. But now we are in the final stages of making it public”, Shailendra said.”It will also help digital marketing”, he says.
PrintNep also focuses on Digital Marketing!
“We offer a separate section for digital marketing. We provide templates for advertising on social media, including Facebook and Instagram”, he said, adding that,” people will be able to download and post photos and text they like on the template they like. It will also help shorten the long process of digital marketing.”
Currently, PrintNep has brought five products only. The company plans to add other products to suit Nepal’s environment over time. Shailendra said that work is underway to make the PrintNep formally public on September 19.
PrintNep has signed an agreement with NepExpress for delivery. There will be three delivery options: overnight, standard, and express.
