Online banking service launched on the occasion of the 56th anniversary of Rastriya Banijya Bank.

The 56th-anniversary celebration of Rashtriya Banijya Bank Limited was held on Saturday. Under the chief guest of Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel.

Speaking on the occasion, Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Poudel said that the general public has confidence in Rastriya Banijya Bank. He said that the bank should do more for the consumer-friendly service in the coming days. So that the banking services provided through technology would benefit the general public.

Finance Minister Poudel starts the five branch offices and five extension counters of the bank in a virtual way. Speaking on the occasion. Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari said that many steps have taken in the past. In order to improve the overall condition of the bank through the virtual medium.

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bank, Dhaniram Sharma, said that the bank was emphasizing consumer-friendly services. Also including social banking in the interest of the depositors and the general public.

Chief Executive Officer of the Bank Kiran Kumar Shrestha while briefing about the current status of the bank. And the overall plan said that the bank is emphasizing digital services. He said that the bank has collected Rs 242 billion in deposits. And invested Rs 175 billion in loans till the end of Poush 2077 BS.

The special issue Gift-2077 published on the occasion of the bank’s 56th anniversary. An online banking service was launched through the virtual medium.
