Rawa Energy’s 6th AGM Today: No Dividend Proposed, Focus on FY 2081/82 Audit Report

Rawa Energy Development Limited (Rawa Energy) is hosting its 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, Wednesday, October 29 (Kartik 12). The meeting is scheduled to commence at 1:00 PM at the Manasarovar Party Palace in Old Baneshwor, Kathmandu.

No Dividend for the Fiscal Year:
A key point of this year’s AGM is the absence of any dividend proposal (neither bonus shares nor cash dividend) for the shareholders. The company has stated that while no profit distribution is proposed this year, it remains focused on increasing distributable profit in the coming years and will update shareholders on its plans.
Key Agendas of the AGM:
The following core proposals will be discussed and ratified during the assembly:
Financial Report Approval: Discussion and approval of the Board of Directors’ report, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement for the Fiscal Year 2081/82.
Auditor Appointment: Appointment of the Statutory Auditor for the current fiscal year 2082/83 and determination of their remuneration.
The company previously announced a book closure date of Ashoj 27 for the AGM purpose. Consequently, only shareholders holding shares up to the day before, Ashoj 26, are eligible to attend and participate in today’s assembly.
Investors will be looking for clarity on the company’s financial performance and development plans to assess future profitability and dividend prospects.
