RBBL 14-Day Pre-Service Training for 89 Newly Appointed Employees

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited (RBBL) has launched a 14-day pre-service training program for 89 newly appointed employees in Kathmandu.

The batch comprises 83 Senior Assistants in Administration, Cash, and IT services and six Officer-level recruits. These individuals were selected through written examinations and interviews conducted by the Public Service Commission.

CEO Stresses Practical Skills

Inaugurating the program, CEO Devendra Raman Khanal emphasized the need to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world scenarios. He encouraged the recruits to deliver quality customer service and enhance the bank’s productivity. Khanal underlined that discipline, dedication, and professionalism are vital for career success.

Deputy CEOs Offer Insights

Deputy Chief Executive Officers Saraswati Adhikari and Devesh Prasad Lohani addressed the participants, guiding them in fulfilling their responsibilities effectively. They highlighted the importance of professionalism and customer-centric approaches in sustaining the bank’s growth.

Oath of Office Administered

Head of the Human Resources Department, Bhim Prasad Ghimire, administered the oath of office to the Senior Assistants, ensuring their commitment to the bank’s service regulations and ethical conduct. The recruits were also briefed on key operational procedures during the training.

Wide Banking Network

Rastriya Banijya Bank operates an extensive network of 294 branch offices, 72 extension counters, 312 ATMs, and 99 branchless banking units across all 77 districts of Nepal. The program was attended by Deputy CEOs Pawan Regmi, Vinaya Raman Paudel, and Durga Kumari Kandel, alongside other senior officials.

This training initiative highlights RBBL’s unwavering commitment to nurturing a skilled and capable workforce. By equipping employees with the necessary knowledge and practical expertise, the bank ensures they are well-prepared to address the evolving and dynamic needs of its customers.
