Real Solutions Hosted HR Festival 2020, First Of Its Kind HR Event In Nepal

HR Festival 2020, First of its kind HR Event in Nepal was jointly organized by Real Solutions, merojob, Rojgari Services and Aayulogic on January 10th, 2020 at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu. The primary goal of this festival was to bring together Nepal’s prominent Business Owners, Industry Experts, HR Leaders and Practitioners in an open dialogue, under one roof to raise and share the spirit of HR in Nepal.
The Chief Guest of the program Honorable Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Mr. Rameshwor Ray Yadav along with Mr. Baljit Vohra, Team Leader of UKaid Skills for Employment Programme (सीप) and Mr. Shailendra Raj Giri, MD of Rojgari Services, officially launched the new and improved Rojgari Website and App during the HR Festival. The website and the App were launched in partnership with UKaid Skills for Employment Programme (सीप). This partnership has the potential to serve at least 7,000 youth by 2022, while also promoting domestic employment and strengthening system-wide collaborations and adoption of good HRM practices by at least 450 employers.
The UKaid-funded four-year Skills for Employment Programme (सीप) supports the generation of new employment and migration management by working with the government, employers in the private sector, training and education institutions, financial and remittance firms, and recruitment agencies to pilot and scale innovative initiatives in priority sectors.
Similarly, Mr. Shailendra Raj Giri and Mr. Rajesh Shrestha, Business Director of Aayulogic introduced the Real HR soft Version 2.0 with a new interface and additional features.
On the occasion, Ms. Runa Maitra, on behalf of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) shared information regarding SHRM and SHRM Certification Programme. The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the world’s largest HR professional society. For nearly seven decades, the Society has been the leading provider of resources serving the needs of HR professionals and advancing the practice of human resource management. Real Solutions is the National Partner for SHRM in Nepal.
During the HR Festival, Mr. Shailendra Raj Giri, Managing Director of Real Solutions and Mr. Amit Das, Business Director of Mercer Metal signed a service agreement. Mercer Mettl is a globally recognized online talent assessment provider. It provides a holistic assessment using multiple assessment tools in order to assess the right skills. Real Solutions and Mercer Mettl are shaking hands from the year 2020, for the same.
Various stalls were held in the program where participants received the knowledge of HR and also participated in recreational activities. Mr. Shailendra Raj Giri said the program was a huge success. About 500 industrialists, traders, human resources experts and practitioners from different fields participated in the program.
