Realme, a mobile brand that is gaining extreme popularity in the past few months, has released another smartphone, Realme 3, that guarantees to ‘power your style.’ Although it isn’t as high as the Realme 3 Pro, it is one of the most awaited smartphones recently made available in Nepal. It has new specifications for a phone that is priced below Rs. 20,000. Reports mention that this phone could easily top the category for a phone under Rs. 20,000 with almost every feature a user would look for. The only major drawback for Realme 3 would be it displays since it lacks HD+ display.
The version Realme 3 that is available in Nepal is powered by an Octa-Core Helio P60 SoC that has a couple of RAM options, 3GB, and 4GB along with 32 GB and 64 GB internal storage capabilities. It supports a microSD slot that can be used to easily upgrade the storage along with a Dual Sim support which is quite common these days.
The looks on this phone are quite good for a smartphone of this range. It has a 6.22 inches IPS LCD along with a notch and a sizable chin. The show is of 19:9 ratio having a pixel density of only 270 PPI. This is probably the only drawback of this fantastic phone.
Talking about the camera, the phone doesn’t have any fantastic capabilities here. A 13 MP f/18 lens is the primary camera with a 2MP depth sensor. It can record 1080p videos at a standard 30fps rate. Nightscape and Chroma Boost along with AI-boosted recognitor and Slow-motion video capture capabilities are also included in this phone.
A huge 4230 mAh battery powers the device however, it lacks VOOC fast charging. Only a 10W charger is available with this smartphone. The company claims to have given the phone a battery optimization mode as well. Realme 3 runs on the Android 9.0 Pie with ColorOS 6 laid on top. The plastic finish of this phone is also done with justice. Realme 3 is priced at Rs. 19,690 and Rs. 23,290 for the 3GB/32GB variant and 4GB/64GB variant respectively.
