BSI V Royal Enfield, along with dual-channel ABS, has introduced the classic 350cc motorcycle into the Nepalese market. Vivek Automobiles, the official distributor for Royal Enfield Nepal, has announced the launch of the bike in Nepal.
Royal Enfield Classic 350 has a special price of Rs. 6 lakh. However, the company says this price will be around for just a while. In fact, it is an increment of Rs. 85,000 from the previous BS-IV variant. But somehow the sweet ABS upgrade justifies the price. Due to the dual-channel ABS, the company believes it will be more secure and safe for tours and daily riding.
Overview of Royal Enfield Classic 350
Let’s get straight to its power! It is powered by a 346cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The overall engine and power make it a true successor of the BS-IV variant. With a max power of 19.8 bhp at 5250rpm, it can produce a max torque of 28 Nm at 4000rpm. And, it has a 5-speed manual gearbox.
This motorcycle includes fuel indicator, headlight casing, dual disc brakes, adjustable fins, oval tool-box, speedometer dial, single-seat spring, saddle tail light assembly, and headlight cap.
Moreover, the 13.5-liter fuel tank with a mileage of 35-40kmpl proves to be excellent for your daily or occasional rides. In fact, you can achieve a top speed of 110kmph with it, but at the expense of some vibrations. As mentioned earlier, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 has got a brilliant dual-channel ABS update.
Vivek Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. has started distributing this motorcycle through its 19 branches and dealers.
What’s new with Royal Enfield Classic 350?
It gets its beautiful classic styling from its predecessor of course. But, the new Royal Enfield Classic 350 features an EVAP system which prevents leakage of petrol vapor, especially during high temperature. That’s not the only upgrade. The new TCI ignition on the motorcycle drastically increases the fuel economy. And obviously, the ABS upgrade has improved dual disc braking performance.

Is Royal Enfield Classic 350 a good choice for Nepali Roads?
If you are a fan of the bullet bikes, you will probably end up buying this beautiful motorcycle. The RE Classic 350 has a powerful engine, dual-channel ABS, and a classic look. The iconic brand name is the cherry on the top.
But at some point, you have to ask yourself if its all worth it!
Are these features enough for you to buy this bike for riding in Nepal? Does it justify its price?
There are some pros and cons to the bike of course. Well, it does come with an electric start. But so does other bikes like KTM Duke, Apache, and Pulsar with more features for the rider. Moreover, it has a high maintenance cost as well.
Quite interestingly, this particular model is the best selling RE motorcycle of all time. So, that’s a factor to consider as well. The RE and bullet fans will love this bike for sure. So, the fact that the Classic 350 is better than the Bullet 350 makes it more appealing to riders.
