With this move, she is set to compete in Australia’s A-League Women, also referred to as the Ninja A-League. This marks another milestone in her growing international football career.

Wellington Phoenix Football Club has announced the signing of Sabitra Bhandari ahead of the new season. The club considers her arrival a major boost for the team. Her track record of goal-scoring and leadership adds strength to their attacking line-up.

Before this, Sabitra played for French club En Avant Guingamp, becoming the first-ever Nepali footballer to score in a top-tier European league. Her time in France not only elevated her personal game but also put Nepal on the global women’s football map.

Sabitra Bhandari has played in multiple international leagues beyond France. Her experience includes professional football in India, Israel, and the Maldives. These stints have helped shape her as a versatile and mature athlete ready for high-level competition.
