Samsung Nepal Launches Monsoon Camp to Repair Smartphones

11th August 2025, Kathmandu

As monsoon season ushers in high humidity and increased risk of water damage, Samsung Nepal has launched a special initiative called the Samsung Monsoon Camp to help customers protect and repair their smartphones, especially focusing on the vulnerable charging port.

Running until August 24, 2025, this campaign invites all Samsung users, irrespective of warranty status, to visit authorized Samsung Service Centers for a free charging port replacement if their device’s charging port is damaged due to moisture or water exposure. While the replacement part itself will be provided free of cost, customers will be responsible for labor charges and any additional parts required.

The Monsoon Camp services will be available exclusively at Samsung’s authorized service centers across Nepal.

Mr. Rajan Bhattarai, Deputy General Manager and Head of Customer Service at Samsung Nepal, stated, “At Samsung Nepal, we are committed to ensuring our customers enjoy a worry-free experience with their devices, no matter the season. The monsoon often brings humidity and water-related risks that can affect smartphones, especially the charging port. Through the Samsung Monsoon Camp, we aim to provide preventive care and support, helping our users protect their phones and stay connected safely throughout the rainy season.”

Samsung encourages all users to take advantage of this limited-time opportunity and ensure their devices are prepared to withstand the monsoon’s challenges. For more information and to locate the nearest authorized service center, customers are advised to contact Samsung Customer Care.
