Sancharika Samuha Nepal Election Results: Kamala Panthi President, New Women in Media Leadership

Sancharika Samuha Nepal elected a new leadership team through its Ninth General Convention. Kamala Panthi won the position of president. She secured 149 votes. Her opponent, Pavitra Sunar, received 87 votes.
Sancharika Samuha Election Results
The election took place on Saturday. Members participated actively in the voting process. Panthi had long been involved with the organization. Her leadership experience helped secure this important role.
Vice President and General Secretary Announced
Basanti Bastola won the role of Vice President. She earned 128 votes. Her competitor, Lokshari Kunwar, received 100 votes.
Radha Khanal was selected as General Secretary. She faced no opposition. Members supported her unanimously. Her continued involvement with the group influenced the decision.
Secretary and Treasurer Results
The Secretary post saw a close competition. Urwashi Basnyat secured 107 votes. Nunuta Rai followed closely with 103. Only four votes separated them.
Sajana Tamang won the Treasurer role. She received 120 votes. Her opponent, Manjima Dhakal, got 105. The 15-vote gap showed strong support for both candidates.
