The Government of Nepal has appointed Sangita Pahadi as the new Managing Director of Nepal Telecom. The decision was made during the Cabinet meeting held on Thursday.

Sangita Pahadi had been serving as the Acting Managing Director of Nepal Telecom following the suspension of former Managing Director Sunil Paudel, who was facing charges related to corruption and amassing illegal wealth. With this new appointment, Pahadi will now officially lead the nation’s largest telecommunications provider.
