The Sanima VISA Domestic Credit Card is the bank’s primary credit solution, providing financial flexibility for major purchases and everyday spending. Its usage extends across Visa merchant locations and ATMs in both Nepal and India, fully supporting both POS and essential e-commerce transactions.
Eligibility and Financial Features
To ensure responsible lending, the bank has clear criteria: applicants must be Nepalese citizens aged 20 to 65, with a minimum monthly salary of NPR 20,000 or an annual self-employment income of at least NPR 240,000. The required documentation is straightforward, including Citizenship proof, a photograph, salary or business proof, and property documents if required for security.
The card’s features are highly competitive, offering a free credit period of 15 to 45 days and a transparent, competitive interest rate of 2% per month. Customers benefit from flexible repayment options, allowing them to pay a minimum of NPR 1,000, 10% of the outstanding balance, or the full outstanding balance.

Usage and Fee Structure
The card has a 4-year validity and offers fundamental features like cash withdrawal, POS usage, online payment capability, balance inquiry, and the Green PIN facility for enhanced security. The card is issued with an Issuance/Re-issuance fee of NPR 500. For transactions at other banks, the fees are set: NPR 15 for ATM withdrawal on other banks in Nepal and INR 250 for withdrawal at ATMs in India. Withdrawal and Transaction Limits

Limits: The limits are set for traveler convenience: USD 1,000 per transaction for ATM withdrawal, with a daily limit of USD 1,500 and a monthly limit of USD 2,500. The POS/e-Commerce limit is a single ceiling of USD 2,500 per transaction, daily, and monthly.
Sanima USD eCard
The Sanima USD eCard is strictly for online transactions in USD, facilitating international payments for educational purposes (like IELTS, TOEFL, SAT), as well as digital platforms (Facebook, YouTube, etc.) as permitted by NRB.
Eligibility and Fees: Customers with a Sanima Bank savings or current account, a PAN number, and updated KYC can avail of this card. The Issuance/Re-issuance fee is NPR 500. The card offers highly convenient online top-up services via Sanima Sajilo eBanking or the bank’s website for a fee of NPR 300, while a branch visit top-up costs NPR 500. The card is designed for online payments only, has a 4-year validity, and can be blocked if used in violation of Nepalese laws or AML/CFT provisions.
