A memorandum of understanding was signed on September 8, outlining the terms of the “Basic Education and Literacy” program. Sanima Reliance Life Insurance will contribute NPR 500,000 to the initiative, with a portion allocated for toilet construction and the remainder used to fund youth literacy programs in community and public schools.

Ratan Lal Kedia, Chairman of Sanima Reliance Life Insurance, emphasized the company’s commitment to societal development, stating that businesses have a responsibility to uplift the communities they operate in. He expressed hope that the literacy program would provide marginalized groups with access to basic education.

Sanima Reliance Life Insurance currently has a nationwide presence with 170 branches and sub-branches, over 50,000 agents, and 18 different insurance plans. To date, more than 950,000 individuals have benefited from their life insurance services.

This CSR initiative aligns with Sanima Reliance’s mission to not only provide financial security through life insurance but also contribute to the overall development of society, particularly in the area of education.
