Google Starts turning HTTP To HTTPS in Search Results
Due to the security problems and cyber-attacks, Google has announced to make websites secure by turning HTTP URLs to HTTPS URLs. Google has only announced that they will be prioritizing secure HTTPS URLs over the HTTP URLs.
The primary purpose of this step is to make the sites more secure and hack-proof. Google wants to increase a secure webpage surfaced in its search engine. Google has also announced that business owners can redirect their HTTP site into HTTPS sites by changing HSTS header in their server.
