We are now in the second phase of the epidemic after the first phase of the coronavirus crippled the country for more than three months.
We have no clue when the schools that have been closed for the past five months following the COVID outbreak will resume operations. There is growing concern that this kind of confusion will obstruct the entire academic year from progressing.
Thus, the government is preparing to conduct education through alternative learning so as to not affect the academic year.
This means that the government will now recognize online classes and classes conducted through alternative means.
Veda is a complete school and college management system software equipped with a digital learning platform.
It has been assisting more than 650 schools to operate effectively through technology. It has also been enabling classrooms through virtual media.
The company has recently started a campaign called “Haat, Haat ma Shikshya” powered by Khalti Digital Wallet.
The company has launched “Haat, Haat ma Shikshya” to honour the contribution made by students and teachers in making online education successful during COVID-19.
All participants who share their online class experiences through video will get a balance of Rs 100 in their Khalti wallet. To receive the 100 rupees, participants need to share a video, like Veda on Facebook, and send a link to their submission to Veda through Facebook messages.
The winners will get a Laptop worth Rs.50,000.
The campaign will begin on June 23, 2021, and the closing date for entries will be on July 23, 2021.
After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
Eligibility for the campaign
The competition is open to residents of Nepal.
The employees of the Khalti Digital Wallet or Veda, their close relatives, and others connected with the organization or judges of the competition are not allowed to participate.
The participant’s school must be subscribed to Veda for participation in Veda Guru and Future Leaders.
Students whose schools do not subscribe to Veda can also participate in the “Future Leaders” category. Teachers whose schools are not subscribed to Veda can only participate in the “New on the Block” category.
Veda must receive all entries by the closing date specified in the competition.
Veda or Khalti will take no responsibility for any misdirection, loss for technical or other reasons, or entries received after the closing date.
By entering this competition, an entrant indicates their agreement to be bound by certain terms and conditions.
Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
How to participate?
- To participate in this campaign, teachers and students will need to share their online classroom experiences on Facebook so that everyone can see them.
- Video made in this way should be at least 30 seconds long.
- You have to like and follow Veda’s Facebook page.
- You have to put the hashtag #HaatHaatmaShikshya #Veda #Khalti while posting the video.
- Tag @Veda Facebook page when posting the video.

Ten videos with the most Likes, Shares, and the most inspirational message will be shortlisted for Veda Guru and Future Leaders. Five videos with the most likes and the most inspirational message will be shortlisted for New on the Block.
