Six newly appointed non-residential ambassadors to Nepal officially submitted their letters of credence to President Ram Chandra Paudel at a special ceremony held at the Office of the President, Shital Niwas.
New Ambassadors Strengthen Diplomatic Ties
The newly accredited ambassadors represent six different nations, further strengthening Nepal’s international relations. The diplomats who presented their credentials are:
- Alassane Conte, Ambassador of the Republic of Niger
- Joyce Kakuramatsi Kikafunda, Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda
- Harris Harley, Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Omar Lisandro, Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala
- Antonio Enrico Bartoli, Ambassador of Italy
- Aliki Koutsomitopoulou, Ambassador of Greece
High-Level Presence at the Ceremony
The event was graced by Nepal’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, along with senior officials of the Government of Nepal. The ceremony marks a significant step in fostering diplomatic relations and international cooperation.
