Washington: Sony has released a new handy device that you wear on your wrist, Smart band 2.
This device notify’s the user whether he/she has any new E-mails, text messages or calls. Besides that, the primary function of the band according to Verge is that it monitors your heart rate via connection through an I phone or any other Android smartphones.
Although the smart band 2 has no screen, it relies on the flashing red lights and vibrations to notify the user and gets messages across. It also consists of a feature in which it monitors the users sleep cycle and wakes them up with waves at the best time possible. Other than that this device can also act like a remote to play or pause music.
The battery life is amazingly lasting as 1 hour of charging can last to almost two days. The screen-less device when paired with the companies life log application offers valuable information about the user’s fitness and stress level.
This piece of technology is one of the many that Sony has launched and are somewhat similar to the smartwatch, smart band and smart band talk, Speaking of which the lifelog application is freely compatible with all the mentioned devices and their functions are somewhat similar.
Furthermore, while the launch the smart band two will be available in black and white. Later, however, pink and indigo colors will be added to the version as well. The wearable piece of technology will be available for purchase this September at just $132.
