Softwarica College of IT and E-Commerce, affiliated with Coventry University, is introducing a new undergraduate-level academic program. The recently launched program aims to generate graduates equipped with the skills required to meet the global demand for human expertise in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Starting from this academic session, Softwarica College has launched a three-year program of 360 credits.

According to our Campus Chief Pramod Poudel, this program will cover both practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to become an expert in the ever-evolving field of AI. Students will study topics related to AI and computer science, making this an educational program aimed at gaining expertise in both areas, says Mr. Poudel.

Through this program, students are equipped with various topics that include programming, software design, computer architecture, networking, creative business thinking, introduction to artificial intelligence, software engineering, advanced algorithms, operating systems and security, machine learning, and related applications, design thinking, and innovation. The college is committed to teaching these topics through different methods including lectures, seminars, labs, workshops, online sessions, and group activities.

To get enrolled in this program, a student needs at least a 2.0 GPA in class 11/12 or 3.5 credits in A levels. Students from science, management, or humanities groups can apply, and the program has two intakes each year: spring and autumn. Upon completion of this program, students can pursue careers as AI software developers, data scientists, software engineers, system architects, AI researchers, project managers, data engineers, and more. The program fee is set at 12 lakh 31 thousand rupees by the college.
