Standard Chartered Bank Users Can Now Load Funds into Khalti Wallet

Nepal’s leading online payment service provider (#PSP), Khalti, has collaborated with Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited to drive digital transformation, heralding a new era of convenience for the bank’s customers.

This collaboration enables Standard Chartered Bank customers to easily load funds into and access the services of the Khalti Digital Wallet.

Under this collaboration, customers of Standard Chartered Bank can effortlessly load their Khalti wallets directly from their mobile banking app, ‘SC Mobile Nepal’. Subsequently, customers will gain access to a wide range of Khalti wallet features, including movie bookings, event tickets, voting, places, bill payments, and many more, all at their fingertips.

Users can follow these steps to load Khalti from their mobile banking app, ‘SC Mobile Nepal’:

  1. Open the mobile banking app
  2. Tap on the ‘Three Line Icon’ at the top left corner
  3. Click on ‘Bill Payment’
  4. Select ‘Load Khalti’ inside the ‘Load Wallet’ option
  5. Fill in the details
  6. Sign in to your Standard Chartered Bank account
  7. Enter the received OTP/eTAC
  8. Confirm your fund load

Regarding this facility, Binaya Khadka, the CEO of Khalti, mentioned that Standard Chartered Bank customers will be able to join the Khalti wallet and seamlessly utilize utility bill payments, bookings, and all the innovative features and services of Khalti.
