Texas College Science Expo 2025 Kicks Off: Robotics & IT Projects on Display

Texas International College (TIC) has inaugurated the much-anticipated ‘Texas Science and IT Exhibition 2082’, a major event designed to foster innovation and technological expertise among students.

The exhibition, which began on Wednesday, is set to run for three days.
Project Highlights
Student Creators: All the IoT (Internet of Things) and Robotics projects on display were developed by first-semester, first-year students enrolled in the college’s BIT and BCA programs.
Skill Development: The college confirmed that these advanced projects were created after the students completed an intensive 30-hour professional training session, demonstrating the successful conversion of theoretical knowledge into practical skills.
Unique Inauguration: The event was formally opened with a spectacular flower shower delivered by a drone a technical showcase built and operated entirely by the students themselves.
Attendance and Attractions:
The college anticipates an impressive turnout of around 15,000 students visiting the exhibition over the three days. In the initial hours of the opening day, over 4,000 students had already toured the stalls, signaling strong public interest.
The exhibition features 70 diverse stalls, including:
Cutting-edge IT Projects (Robotics and IoT).
An engaging Game Zone.
Food Stalls managed by BHM (Hospitality Management) students.
A Soccer Board attraction.
Leadership’s Vision
Speaking at the inauguration, Principal Shyam Sundar Shrestha affirmed the college’s commitment to innovation, stating that the exhibition is a continuation of successful events from previous years and will be a permanent fixture in the college calendar.
In his welcoming remarks, Executive Chairman Bhesh Raj Pokharel applauded the students’ efforts and creativity. He encouraged the students to continue pursuing such creative programs in the future and extended his best wishes for the exhibition’s success.
