The newest Uber driver in Pittsburgh is not a person but a self-driving Volvos XC90. Today unimaginable progress has become possible due to science and technology. Per day new and refined technology overrides most of the technology back and creates an opportunity to boost up today’s world so far than we expect. Likewise new technology Uber had also become so popular in developed countries that it had dramatically changed the perspective and thoughts of the online transportation network and system.

Uber is an American multinational online transportation network company that allows customers with Smartphone to submit a trip request which is then routed to uber drivers who use their cars through a map and a GPS track. Not only this you can also complain if your driver took a circuitous route.

And this autonomous car’s technology was jointly developed by Volvo and Uber. Volvo is, also multinational manufacturing companies that provide marine and industrial drive systems and financial services. Not only this, but it also produces, distributes and sale of trucks, buses and construction equipment.

For now, Uber’s self-driving cars contain an Uber employee who sits just behind the wheel and monitors the self-driving car. A copilot will also ride in the passenger seat. Similarly, the Uber test driver will be present there if the vehicle is unable to drive safely since there is no margin when the self-driving cars will operate without the Uber test driver and copilot.

The exciting thing is that anyone will be able to identify the self-driving cars since it has some large sensor package on the roof and driver not having their hands on the wheel. If you have used previously map the city, then Uber will also use some self-driving Ford Fusions to drive safely.

Since Uber or other E-hail services has lots of advantages with negligible disadvantages, perhaps this technology on transportation will change the world and reduce car accidents.
