30th Cyber Security Awareness Program has been successfully conducted at western Chitwan. In the program, Dr. Ramhari virtually presents through Skype. He also gave the example of a current incident related to cybercrime occurred at Chitwan.
Considering the increasing threats revealed due to the development of the network, trainer Mr. Chiranjeevee Pokharel had given Cyber Security related awareness generating training to the youths of Chitwan-7, Gunjanagar. As there is a requirement of security in the social network; he has taught how to use first time a computer after buying it. He practically taught the trainees how to apply the possible security right after purchasing the laptop.
In the program, Dr. Ramhari Subedi virtually presents through Skype. He also gave the example of a current incident related to cybercrime occurred at Chitwan. Trainer Mr. Pokhrel then continued his slide presentation and focused more on the threats in the use of social media. He then let them read the text message of Skype to let them know how the youths are victimized by cyber criminals. Finally, after displaying over 70 slides and explain on every slide; the participants were interested to appear in the Basic Level Training, which will be conducted soon this week.
The trainees, today, were namely – Saroj Tamang, Naresh Khatri, Raj Gurung, Pradip Gurung, Samikshya Tamang, Sapana Chhetri, Krishna Gharti, Kushal Hamal, Kushal Gurung, Sujan KC, and Pooja Gurung. Under the coordination of Pooja Gurung, the program has been completed. The participants were curious to learn even the theoretical and practical knowledge regarding cybersecurity.
In the feedback, the trainees have said the program is effective and they are eager to take basic training.
