The partnership between Foodmandu and E-Sewa, 20% Cashback (up to Rs. 300) on Foodmandu orders via E-Sewa

An agreement has been signed between Foodmandu, Nepal’s first and largest online food delivery platform, and Esewa, Nepal’s first mobile wallet. With this partnership between the leading companies, Foodmandu users will now be able to pay for orders through Esewa.

The agreement will provide additional benefits to Esewa users, while Foodmandu users will be able to use an additional payment method. According to the Head of Brand, Sales and Marketing of Foodmandu, Shyam Ratna Mali, “The availability of Esewa will make it easier for the customers at a time when interest in online payment is growing among the orders placed in Foodmandu. We now process more than 30% of our payments online, and by joining a major network like Esewa, we hope to raise that percentage.” He also added that the collaboration is anticipated to support Digital Nepal’s campaign and enhance the customer experience.

As per the Business Development Head of Esewa, Ashish Prasain, “The increasing usage of digital payments will make it simpler for users to pay from home. In the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, people are increasingly paying for various orders through online mediums and we’re happy to be collaborating with a huge network like Foodmandu. This will also aid Digital Nepal’s campaign.

Along with this partnership, Foodmandu has also announced a 20% Cashback or up to Rs 300 on the first order to customers who pay through Esewa.
