Who wouldn’t love to get an alternative to typing messages, right? Here’s the good news for all the iOS users using Telegram. The instant messaging platform, Telegram is adding a new feature that will come in handy for iPhone and iPad users. This feature is none other than the popular Siri function.
The telegram was initially launched for iOS on 2013 in Russia and is currently based on Dubai. The official client apps are available for Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, and GNU/Linux.
Siri feature on Telegram
As per the report by the 8-bit, the latest beta model of the app helps Apple’s Announce Messages with Siri function on Airpods. This feature will be made available on both the iPhone and iPad. It had been rolled out on the beta-version of the telegram app.
This option will permit the users to hear their incoming messages along with the name of the sender on telegram via Siri even when the device is locked. The report also says that the iOS users will be able to reply to the incoming messages after hearing them.
Telegram becomes the first third-party application to enable Apple’s Announce Messages feature. For iOS, Announce Messages on telegram uses Siri to read out all the incoming messages to the user when the user’s headphone is connected to their iPhone or iPad.
According to Apple, for this feature to work, the headphone must be connected to the device and the device must be locked.
If this feature is officially launched to the public version of Telegram, the users of AirPods, AirPods Pro, Powerbeats Pro, and Beats Solo Pro will get to use it.
The availability of the Siri features in Telegram will make the conversation much easier. Getting an alternative to typing messages in the chatting apps is all that we could wish for. So, who’s waiting for this Siri feature to be officially launched in Telegram?
