TVS iQube green ride in Nepal, completes 100,000 km run in less than 4 months

TVS Motor Company, in collaboration with Jagdamba Motors Pvt Ltd (JMPL) celebrated the milestone with TVS iQube customers

TVS Motor Company today announced that TVS iQube, the company’s maiden electric scooter completed 100,000 kilometers run on the roads of Nepal. This remarkable milestone was achieved in less than 4 months of the launch of the TVS iQube in the country and reaffirms TVS Motor’s commitment to sustainability and green mobility. TVS iQube has demonstrated best-in-class endurance, riding comfort, eco-friendliness, and ‘running cost-effectiveness’ within a short span, garnering love and respect of its customers.

The environmental impact of this accomplishment is substantial, with a reduction of 3,500 kg of CO2 emissions which is equivalent to planting about 175 trees. Additionally, the fuel saved amounts to 2,850 litres, resulting in customers’ fuel cost savings of NPR 4.6 lacs and additionally reducing the burden of foreign exchange on the exchequer.

The TVS iQube Green Revolution Ride starting from TVS Naxal Showroom and ending in Bhaktapur, had 30 participants altogether. The main goal of the ride was to fight environmental pollution, save trees, and stop noise pollution. The event included activities like Safe Riding Training and tips on how to maintain vehicles. Gifts and certificates were given to participants, showing TVS Motor Company’s dedication to promoting eco-friendly and responsible urban mobility.

Globally, TVS iQube has already reached 225,000 households, making it the primary choice of electric mobility for many who are seeking a world class premium product with cutting edge technology. Accumulating over 1.25 billion kms, saving 15 million litres of fuel and reducing carbon emissions of 43,765 tons which is equivalent to 1.7 million trees planted, the TVS iQube gives an unparallel electric riding experience.

Nepal is one of the few countries with domestic power generation that is entirely renewable with 98% of it coming from Hydro power. The country’s electricity surplus is ably supported by TVS iQube’s electric revolution and will be a major contributing factor in nation building.

To commemorate this significant milestone of 100,000 green kilometers, TVS Motor Company, in collaboration with Jagdamba Motors Pvt Ltd (JMPL), completed a green and ecological ride with TVS iQube customers. TVS iQube is supported by JMPL’s country wide sales and service network.
