Chinese technology leader UNV has unveiled its latest showroom in Kathmandu, marking a significant expansion of its digital security solutions in Nepal.

The state-of-the-art showroom on the second floor of CTC Mall Sundhara was inaugurated by prominent businessmen Min Bahadur Gurung and Steven Tien, South Asia Director of Rowort and Company.

The new showroom showcases a range of advanced digital security products, including UNV’s latest surveillance systems, automatic door locks, face recognition-based attendance systems, video intercoms, and smart interactive boards available in sizes from 65 inches to 98 inches. Hariram Rimal, Director of UNV Store Pvt., highlighted the showroom’s commitment to offering cutting-edge technology to enhance security and convenience.

During the inauguration, Rimal also announced ongoing discussions for potential cooperation in developing advanced EV charging stations in Nepal, reflecting the company’s forward-thinking approach to technology integration.

Min Bahadur Gurung, the chief guest and owner of Bhatbhateni Supermarket, praised the long-standing partnership with UNV and expressed enthusiasm for future technological collaborations. Steven Tien noted Nepalis’s commercial honesty and diligence and emphasized UNV’s intention to increase its investment in Nepal’s technology sector.

The showroom’s grand opening featured a 20% discount on nearly all products, a promotion that will continue until further notice. The opening event attracted over 400 visitors, and UNV Nepal’s Sales Head Sardak Adhikari mentioned that with more than 150 dealers nationwide, UNV products are now widely accessible nationwide. The store’s expansion reflects UNV’s commitment to enhancing digital security and smart technology solutions in Nepal.
