The continuous display makes the phone unique and the user feedback to adds up positively.

Camera
The Vivo V15 Pro houses four cameras (three on the back and one on the front). The primary rear camera is of 48MP resolution and uses use of Samsung’s GM1. The pop-up selfie camera uses Samsung’s GD1 sensor with and 32MP resolution, respectively. The best results are clicked at 12MP and 8MP resolution.
Besides these, the Vivo V15 Pro also has a depth sensor along with a wide-angle camera. Night mode that requires you to hold your phone steady for a few seconds is also available in this device.
The Vivo V15 Pro can capture awesome shots in good daylight and lowlight performance isn’t bad either. Although the edge detection feature available in portrait mode can be a bit off, the blur quality is pretty good. The focus lock is amazingly quick, and the wide-angle method allows decent close-up pictures to be taken. The pop-up selfie camera can take amazing selfies.
Face Unlock and In-display fingerprint sensor
Unlocking the Vivo V15 pro is very easy with its face to unlock system. The in-display fingerprint sensor built in is also easy to use and works well. Although it has the pop-up selfie camera module, the phone does support fast face unlock.
Display
The smartphone is using an excellent quality AMOLED panel with vivid colors and high contrast. Also, there is a good quality plastic screen protector on display with proper smudge resistant oleophobic coating.
Practically, though, the Super AMOLED panel used here isn’t the best one available, but it covers all the basic stats for a mid-range offering. The phone works impressively well outdoors too under sunny conditions.
Performance and Software
The Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 675 is an 11nm process based chipset with two high-end Cortex-A76-based Kryo 460 cores and 6 Cortex-A55-based Kryo 460 silver cores. The Snapdragon 675 includes a great ISP and an extra camera connect which enables it to manage feed from three cameras simultaneously.
Series-800 chipsets are available in the same budget, but the performance we are getting on the Vivo 15 Pro is nothing less. Apps open quickly and games run without any lags.
With 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, the memory side is also well covered. There is also a card slot to add secondary storage as per users will.
The device is running on Android 9.0 Pie based Fun touch OS. It doesn’t have that good of skin, but it is easily customizable. Navigation gestures and styles, direct Paytm payments from notifications bar, motorbike mode, dual apps and customizable always on display are some key features in this section.
Battery, Connectivity, and Sound
The Vivo V15 Pro has a 3700mAh battery, and with the use of efficient hardware, the phone can easily last through a heavy work day. However, a considerable battery drop was noticed while playing high-end games like PUBG.
Although it has the dual engine fast charging feature that allows the phone to charge up the battery quickly, the charge time was prolonged for a fast charge device. It is mentioned that the full charge time is 30 minutes, but only 38% was obtained in practice.
The Vivo V15 Pro has all usual set of connectivity options including dual 4G VoLTE and dual-band Wi-Fi. Audio output via speakers and headphones is good enough. The bottom-firing single speaker may be blocked by hand while watching videos; however, the quality is above average when it comes to loudspeakers.
In conclusion, Vivo V15 Pro is an impressive phone for the budget and provides features within the budget. The smartphone has a cool design and high battery backup with a good display, camera, and correctly working sensors. The OS can use some improvements and a regular micro USB port that adds to the downside. No HD streaming support on Netflix can also prove to be a drawback to some. So overall, it is a cool phone and provides most of the new-gen technology that the budget allows.
