Vivo’s brand ambassador Pradeep Khadka talks about his journey and partnership with Vivo
- How well do you associate yourself with the brand Vivo? Tell us more about your experience in working with the brand?
vivo, as a brand, has established itself as one of the leading players in the Nepali smartphone market with its consistency towards delivering innovative technology. My experience with the brand has been great. vivo’s elegant designs complement my style, making it a perfect match. To me, working with a brand that values the local people and culture of Nepal is very important, and Vivo’s immersion in the local culture is definitely one of the key highlights for my association with them. vivo adopts a ‘More Global, More Local’ approach to deeply understand the local cultures, lifestyles, needs, and requirements and delivers meaningful innovation that best suits its consumers.
Developing technologies and features based on consumer insights are fundamental to vivo as an international handset brand, and that is what differentiates Vivo from other brands. This local commitment of Vivo made my choice to associate with the brand very easy.
2. What do you think sets the Vivo V series apart from other players in the market?
The V series has set new benchmarks in the smartphone industry, especially for night photography. It has redefined how I, myself, click pictures, especially in low-light environments. Clicking selfies is an absolute joy, and I truly enjoy snapping away with my V21, whether I’m relaxing at home or out with friends. The smartphones in the V series are a perfect combination of innovation and style, with a no-compromise approach for an uninterrupted, unique user experience. That is what sets them apart from other players in the industry.
3. Do you think your style quotient matches Vivo’s V series? How well do you resonate with the products?
My style perfectly matches with Vivo- we fit like two peas in a pod. vivo, as a youth-centric brand, continuously revamps its style and design with every new launch, and it is the same for me as well. I like to experiment with my style with a sleek and stylish color palette that resonates with not only me but also with the ever-evolving youth who are always ‘On the Go’.
4. A lot of young people look up to you and take Vivo products as their choice of smartphone. What is that one piece of advice that you want to give to all Vivo fans and your audience?
The advice that I would like to give my younger audience is one inspired by Vivo’s mission itself. vivo believes in the concept of “Benfen”, a term that describes the attitude of doing the right things and doing things right. I stand by it and would always encourage people to do the right thing and stand up for what they believe in, irrespective of whether others stand with you or not.
5. How do you plan to celebrate the ongoing festive season? What would you recommend your fan base to purchase from Vivo during the auspicious season of Dashain?
The ongoing festive season is a great way to celebrate joy and spread festive cheer. Smartphones are always a great purchase during the festivities as they are available at such great discounts and offers. My personal recommendation would be the recently launched V series smartphones – V21 and V21e – that perfectly capture all your moods and memories and will undoubtedly make this festive season a memorable one for you.
6. Where do you see Vivo as a brand in Nepal in the next 5 years?
From a strategic standpoint, I strongly believe Vivo, as a brand in Nepal, will continue to prosper as they are enriching consumer lives with industry-leading innovations and world-class features. vivo is an industry leader in introducing smartphones with advanced camera technology, premium imaging hardware, and powerful software to ensure a seamless user experience. As long as Vivo continues to emphasize and improve the product portfolio with the latest cutting-edge technology and upgrades, it will always have something to offer to its huge customer base and will continue to be a leader in the Nepali market.
