Vriddhi Sanjal Pvt. Ltd. (VSP) and Kathmandu University (KU) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish an innovation hub on the university’s premises.

The MoU was signed by Mr. Sixit Bhatta, founding member of the Tootle Ride Sharing App and KU alumnus, on behalf of VSP, and Dr. Bal Krishna Bal, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, on behalf of KU.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the School of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Manish Pokharel, along with other faculty members of KU.

The innovation hub aims to build a digital public infrastructure (DPI) and a transaction network (OTN) to democratize access to and use of digital public goods.

Dean Prof. Pokharel expressed high excitement and optimism for the collaboration, highlighting its potential to drive innovation and technological advancement in Nepal.

This partnership is expected to foster significant developments in the digital landscape, benefiting both the academic community and broader society.
