New Features on WhatsApp Desktop

WhatsApp is all ready to launch its new features on its desktop and web. It is a messaging platform. WhatsApp app has many useful and attractive features. However, the desktop and web versions lack many of the features compared to the app.

For a few months, it has been bringing many updates on its desktop and web version. It has been a while now that it has offered voice and video calls on its mobile clients. Desktop and web users are unable to use this WhatsApp feature. This may be a hassle for users who use these clients.

Fortunately, WhatsApp is expected to soon launch voice and video calls on desktop and web.

According to WABetaInfo, now WhatsApp will allow voice and video calls on PC and MAC. This feature is currently in the testing phase. It has started testing the calls in beta with the users.

These features are common in all messaging platforms. Considering how popular WhatsApp is, this feature is the most needed one. This platform is used around the globe.

After the launch of this feature, it can be a great alternative for Zoom and Google meet for group video calls. According to the reports, the user will be able to take calls with a pop-up window. The window will show the caller’s details. Alongside, the contact information will be shown with the type of call that is incoming.

The launch date for these features on desktop and web has not been announced yet. But we hope that these features will be available soon to its users. After the launch of these calls, the users will be able to take and place calls from any device. This multi-device support of WhatsApp can be the most successful feature.

So, how many of you are waiting for these features to get launched on WhatsApp desktop and web?
