WordPress Biratnagar to Award ‘Ujjwal Thapa Memorial Scholarship’ for Wordcamp Biratnagar.
Ujjwal Thapa was the former president of Vibekshil Saja Party and co-founder of WordPress Nepal.
He was born and raised in Kathmandu and educated at Budhanilkantha School. He started his career as a Technology Entrepreneur.
WordPress Biratnagar has announced to give ‘Ujjawal Thapa Memorial Scholarship’ to one person for the upcoming event WordCamp Biratnagar.
Those who want to participate in the upcoming World Camp Biratnagar can apply for this scholarship.
Ujjwal Thapa, the co-founder of WordPress Nepal and an IT entrepreneur, died last May due to a corona infection.
WordPress Biratnagar has decided to provide the ‘Ujjwal Thapa Memorial Scholarship’ for the upcoming Word Camp in his memory.
This scholarship will cover the cost of coming to Biratnagar from anywhere in Nepal, hotel accommodation during the event, WordCamp Biratnagar ticket, local transportation, and food outside the event.
Only Nepali citizens can apply for this scholarship.
Although the selection criteria have not been decided yet, they can be provided to the physically challenged, underprivileged, and women interested in WordPress.
