WorldLink- one of the leading Internet Service Provider of Nepal has won an international award. During the event organized by the Asian-Oceanian Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) in Japan, the company won the award.
As mentioned in the statement issued by WorldLink, the company was awarded a title of ‘Outstanding Users Organization.’ WorldLink claims that they are the first ISP from Nepal to be honored with this award.
David Wang President of ASOCIO handed over the award to Laxman Yadav, Director at WorldLink. During the program, more than a thousand participants from 33 different nations showed their presence. Because of the contribution made by WorldLink in the internet market of Nepal and due to the quality service provided by them to its consumers the company has bagged the award. The evaluation of the award was made internally by the organizers, claimed WorldLink.
WorldLink claims that it is the most extensive Internet and Network Service Provider in Nepal providing high-speed FTTx, IPTV, and Fixed Wireless Broadband Service. According to the statistics published by the authorized body of ISP (NTA) in Dec 2017, WorldLink has 190,000 active consumer broadband internet accounts and more than 2000 corporate accounts along with 25000 IPTV users. Out of 77 districts in Nepal, Worldlink has coverage in 63 of them. WorldLink was founded in 1995. They also have 265000 retail customers.
WorldLink operates state-of-the-art network built upon the network devices manufacturer like Nokia for DWDM, Juniper, and Cisco for IP/MPLS Core and Aggregation, Extreme Network in Switching, Nokia, and Huawei for the Access side. The most substantial fiber backbone and access network across the country serving 63 districts providing services like high-speed Internet up to 100Mbps along with HD IPTV services.
