Xiaomi’s CEO Assures To Handle A Screwdriver If Mi 9 Stock Is Insufficient

The CEO of Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi, Lei Jun is world renowned for his hard work. He leaves no stone unturned when the development of the company matters. He is known for his hard work and passion to see the growth of the company.

Even now, Jun works as a full-time employee along with the other staff of the company. Recently, a post made by Lei Jun on his social media account has caught the eye of a lot of people and he is being praised for his job.

His post has boosted the hopes of the fans and staff members of Xiaomi company. On a post made on Weibo on March 3, Lei Jun assured the fans that if the Mi 9 stock were to fall short of 1 million units in its first month, he will go to the factory himself to speed up the assembly process.

Many have tagged this post as a mere joke from Jun, but Xiaomi’s product manager Wang Teng Thomas added credibility to the CEO’s sayings. He even shared a photo that shows Lei Jun with a screwdriver working to assemble the device in the company’s assembly plant. However, this photo isn’t taken recently. It is a throwback to 2013 when Lei Jun was helping the assembly process of the first Mi Router.

Xiaomi’s Mi 9 first sale took place in the first week of March. Xiaomi is looking to establish a global reach with their products. The Xiaomi smartphones are ranked 4th with over 9% occupancy in the global market.
