XO Club Nepal: Redefining Nightlife in Kathmandu with World-Class Sound & Style
5th September 2025, Kathmandu
Kathmandu’s nightlife has undergone a seismic shift. The recent launch of XO Club marks a new chapter for Nepal’s entertainment scene, setting unprecedented standards for scale, sound, and spectacle.
XO Club Nepal
Backed by a massive investment of NPR 30 Crore, this venue is not just a club; it’s a statement about the future of nightlife in the country.
A World-Class Sound Experience
At the heart of XO Club’s allure is its revolutionary audio system. It is the first venue in Nepal to install Adamson speakers, a globally recognized brand synonymous with top-tier clubs and festivals worldwide.
The system’s pristine setup was personally overseen by Carlos Sallaberry from Adamson, who traveled from Canada to ensure perfection. This, combined with advanced soundproofing and state-of-the-art lighting, creates an immersive experience that music lovers have never encountered before in Kathmandu.
The Team Behind the Vision
The ambition of XO Club is reflected in its technical leadership. The project was helmed by Team XL, with founder Shashindra Chitrakar guiding every detail. He was supported by celebrated audio engineer Binaya Amatya, founder of Project Studio Productions.
With a dedicated workforce of over 100 staff, the club ensures a level of service that matches its world-class ambitions. With a capacity for up to 1,200 guests, XO Club has quickly become one of the largest premium clubs in the country.
A Stage for Global and Local Talent
Since its spectacular opening night on June 6, 2025, XO Club has become a premier destination for both international sensations and celebrated Nepalese artists.
The venue has hosted legendary local acts like Bipul Chettri & The Travelling Band and Sabin Rai & The Pharaoh, alongside international DJs such as Karan Kanchan of Lollapalooza and Kampai of Boiler Room. The club’s commitment to nurturing local talent is also evident, providing a stage for popular Nepalese DJs including Foeseal, DJ Finzok, and Taro.
More Than Just a Club
Beyond music, XO Club is establishing itself as a cultural hub. It has hosted the exclusive premieres of highly anticipated music videos, including Sajjan Raj Vaidya’s “Behuli” and Rachana Dahal’s “Hey Bhagwan.” This commitment to celebrating the broader creative landscape cements its role as a space where art, music, and culture converge.
The journey continues on September 12, 2025, with international DJs Fake Tattoos and Almost Human set to perform, promising yet another unforgettable night.
With its commitment to quality, cutting-edge technology, and a stellar lineup of performers, XO Club Nepal is more than just a venue; it is the new heartbeat of Nepal’s nightlife.
