CG Motors, the official distributor for XPeng in Nepal, has officially commenced sales of the X9 at the prestigious event, with a price tag of NPR 2.20 crore. This strategic launch marks XPeng’s entry into the premium vehicle segment in Nepal, offering a blend of cutting-edge technology, unparalleled comfort, and sustainable performance that is set to redefine luxury travel.
The XPeng X9 is more than just a family van; it’s a high-tech mobility solution built on an advanced 800-volt electric architecture. This next-generation platform is a game-changer, enabling ultra-fast charging speeds.
The X9 supports a powerful 330 kW DC fast charger, significantly reducing the time spent at charging stations. This technology, combined with an 84.5 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, allows the vehicle to offer a WLTP-certified range of 480 km on a single full charge, making it an excellent choice for long-distance journeys across Nepal’s diverse landscapes.
The exterior of the XPeng X9 boasts a futuristic design, with sleek lines and a bold presence. Its generous dimensions—5,293 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,785 mm in height—translate into a spacious and luxurious interior. Inside the cabin, the focus is on providing a first-class travel experience for all passengers.
The vehicle features a “zero-gravity” seat design that conforms to the body’s natural posture, offering a level of comfort that is often found in the most premium segments of the market. These seats, combined with a host of other luxurious features, create a serene and relaxing environment for everyone on board.
For enhanced passenger comfort, the XPeng X9 is equipped with a sophisticated suspension system featuring “Six D AI Anti-Motion Sickness” technology. This intelligent system actively works to reduce the effects of bumps and road imperfections, ensuring a smooth ride even on uneven terrain.
The vehicle’s advanced suspension setup includes double wishbone front suspension and multi-link independent rear suspension, both of which are equipped with dual-chamber air spring systems. This setup allows the driver to adjust the ride height by up to 90 mm, providing greater flexibility and clearance when needed, such as on rough roads or during loading.
The cabin is a technological sanctuary designed to entertain and inform. Rear passengers can enjoy a cinematic experience with a large 21.4-inch ceiling-mounted, fold-down display with a high resolution. This is complemented by a panoramic sunroof that floods the cabin with natural light, and a front seatback-mounted control panel that allows passengers to manage various settings.
In terms of safety and technology, the XPeng X9 is a leader in its class. It is equipped with a LiDAR-free Hac AI ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) system. This cutting-edge system uses a combination of high-resolution cameras, radars, and powerful AI processing to provide advanced safety features and driving assistance without the need for expensive LiDAR sensors. This approach makes the X9’s technology more accessible while still delivering top-tier performance in a variety of driving conditions.
The launch of the XPeng X9 at the NADA Auto Show 2025 is a bold statement from CG Motors, a testament to the growing demand for luxury electric vehicles in Nepal. As a multi-purpose vehicle (MPV), the X9 caters to a unique market that values both space and premium features.
With its competitive pricing, advanced technological suite, and focus on passenger comfort, the X9 is poised to become a new benchmark in the Nepali luxury vehicle market, challenging established brands and attracting a new wave of tech-savvy, eco-conscious buyers.
