The grand unveiling took place at the prestigious NADA Auto Show 2025, where the company also announced a slew of special offers, including a significant cash discount and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for racing enthusiasts.
The new additions to the Yamaha lineup are designed to cater to the evolving tastes of modern riders. The Yamaha MT-15 V2, a motorcycle celebrated for its aggressive streetfighter DNA, is now available in two new captivating color schemes: ICE Strom and BVM.
These variants are expected to further amplify the bike’s bold and muscular appeal. Meanwhile, the FZ-S V3 DLX, a cornerstone of Yamaha’s popular FZ series, gets a fresh new look with the introduction of the ICE Fluo Vermilion variant, adding a modern and stylish flair to its already well-established design.
Vishnu Kumar Agrawal, the esteemed Chairman of MAW Rides, shared his insights on the launch. “These new variants reflect Yamaha’s commitment to its global design identity while providing our riders with new trend-setting options,” he stated.
Agrawal emphasized that the introduction of these models is a testament to Yamaha’s focus on blending cutting-edge design with performance to meet the demands of the Nepali market.
The Yamaha MT-15 V2, known for its powerful 155cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 4-valve engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), is a favorite among riders who crave a thrilling riding experience.
The new ICE Strom and BVM variants not only bring a fresh aesthetic but continue to offer the same exhilarating performance and agility that the MT series is known for. The BVM variant, in particular, is a nod to Yamaha’s legacy, bringing a retro yet modern feel to the motorcycle.
Similarly, the FZ-S V3 DLX, which has dominated the 150cc segment with its muscular look and comfortable ergonomics, now gets a vibrant boost with the ICE Fluo Vermilion variant. This new color option is expected to attract younger riders seeking a motorcycle that stands out from the crowd. The FZ-S V3 DLX continues to be powered by a 149cc air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine with Yamaha’s “Blue Core” technology, ensuring a perfect balance of performance and fuel efficiency.
To make the NADA Auto Show experience even more rewarding for customers, MAW Rides has rolled out enticing offers. All motorcycle and scooter models are available with a direct cash discount of up to Rs. 7,000. This special offer makes it an opportune time for potential buyers to own their dream Yamaha ride.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Customers who book any motorcycle from the Yamaha MT series during the auto show will be entered into a lucky draw for an incredible prize: an all-expenses-paid trip to witness a MotoGP race live.
This is a rare chance for a rider to immerse themselves in the high-octane world of professional motorcycle racing. As an added incentive, every rider who books an MT series motorcycle will also receive a premium MT riding jacket, a perfect accessory to complement their new streetfighter.
The launch of the new Yamaha MT-15 and FZ-S variants at the NADA Auto Show 2025 reinforces Yamaha’s strong presence in the Nepali market.
