The highly anticipated grand premiere of the film “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” concluded successfully on Wednesday evening, July 10, at Big Movies, Kamalpokhari. Dedicated to Nepalese language, literature, art, and patriotism, the movie is now poised for its nationwide release this Friday, Asar 27.

The premiere drew a distinguished audience, including prominent film industry professionals, journalists, security personnel, and individuals from various sectors, all eager to witness this culturally significant production.

Veteran Figures Praise Film’s Message

Veteran director Tulsi Ghimire lauded the film for its commendable effort to preserve and promote Nepalese language, literature, and culture. “This film not only inspires the new generation but also reminds the current generation to take responsibility towards the Nepali language,” Ghimire remarked, highlighting its intergenerational appeal.

Actor Rajarama Paudel strongly recommended “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” as a must-watch for every Nepalese, citing its powerful patriotic message, rich storytelling, and deep reflection of Nepalese identity. Director Ashok Sharma expressed confidence in the movie’s ability to resonate with and win the hearts of the audience. Folk singer Jyoti Magar also admired the film’s theme, echoing the sentiment that it’s an essential watch for all Nepalese.

Journalist Sushil Nepal shared a personal reflection, noting how living abroad truly underscores the value of Nepalese language, art, and culture. He praised the film for its authentic portrayal of these elements and even suggested government tax exemptions for such meaningful productions.

The premiere saw a strong turnout of notable personalities, including journalist Tikaram Yatri, folk singer Badri Pangeni, singer Radhika Hamal, choreographer Kamal Rai, directors Rajendra Salabh and Rishi Lamichhane, former MP Mahendra Limbu, AIG of Armed Police Force Banshiraj Dahal, producer Rajkumar Rai, President of the Artists Association Mohan Niraula, President of the Directors’ Society Janakdeep Parajuli, President of the Technical Association Pushkar Lama, and comedian Dinesh Kafle. Their unanimous consensus was that “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” is a film every Nepalese across the globe should experience.

Cast and Crew Express Confidence

Lead actors Vijay Baral, Roshan Shrestha, Wilson Bikram Rai, Ayusha Samal, and Buddhi Tamang conveyed their strong belief in the film’s success, fueled by the overwhelmingly positive reception at the premiere.

Director Mitra Pradhan (Nar) expressed profound encouragement from the premiere’s positive feedback. He reiterated that the film was genuinely crafted as a tribute to Nepalese language, literature, and art, urging all Nepalese to visit cinemas and share their reactions. Notably, social worker and lyricist Pancham Tamang traveled from the USA specifically to attend the event, underscoring the film’s anticipated impact.

Presented by Ishwar Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., “Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho” is produced by Gyan Bahadur Pradhan (Roshan) and directed by Mitra Pradhan (Nar). The talented cast also features Narayan Khati, Bhupendra Lingden “Mantri”, Subash Bhandari, Bijaya Subba, Bijita Pariyar, Devaraj Rajbanshi, and Bhanubhakta Sitaula.

The film’s screenplay is by Shivam Adhikari, cinematography by Saurav Lama, action direction by Dev Maharjan, and VFX by Samir Miya. Choreography is handled by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Pramod Bhandari, editing by Banish Shah, and CGI by Satyam Rana.
