The International Women Day Global Event Series is an annual event hosted by WLiT (Women Leaders in Technology) and Women TechMakers with the support of GDG Kathmandu.

The event is a continuation of the HerStory Month in March, to celebrate the International Women’s Day on March 8. The event will consist of various individual activities and programs. The speaker series of the game will focus on the extraordinary Women in Tech, with several women speakers presenting their stories to the audience.

Here’s a sneak peek of one of our Speakers for the Saturday events. We can’t wait to hear the story of one of Nepal’s best tech company’s CEO Mona NyachhyonGopaju and get inspired!

Ms. Mona started her career as a Software Developer at Verisk Information Technologies and then went to lead projects as Lead, Scrum Master, Engineering Manager, and Project Manager. She has had over 10 years of experience in the IT/Software field.

Log point is a software development company founded in 2008 as a branch of a Danish IT-Company. Log Point primarily focuses on security log management solutions and related services.

Along with the speaker series, the event will also consist of various workshop with participants learning about things like hardware and google maps. It will also provide a lot of opportunities for the participants to network with each other and to the people working in the IT field and software companies. The event invites both men and women for participation.
