About the Competition

Bring Coding To Life For Students

Discovery Education – UK and Edutech India brings to you a National Level Coding Competition in India for young students from Classes 2 to 9 (Age 7 to 14 years) across all school boards (IB, CBSE, ICSE, Govt boards, etc..). Coding opens up opportunities for children to explore the world of technology. It also allows children to acquire skills that they can use in future careers. Technology changes the world, and the world needs scientific-minded and tech-savvy talents. The cultivation of such skills must start from an early age. With the Discovery Education Coding Platform, participants will gain a thorough understanding of coding concepts like algorithms, sequences and variables – as well as develop computational thinking skills through decomposition, logical reasoning and problem-solving.

What does the competition involve?

The Discovery Education Coding competition is essential for young learners, as it fosters important coding skills through engaging and interactive activities. It teaches foundational concepts in a fun and accessible manner to younger students, making coding enjoyable. For older students, it provides more advanced challenges that improve coding proficiency and prepare them for future technological endeavours. This initiative fosters digital literacy, creativity, problem solving, logical thinking and providing students with essential skills for the modern world.
