Worldlink to expand world-class fiber services to 1 million households and build high-speed 100 Gbps backbone network. Worldlink Communications Pvt. Ltd announced the plans to expand world-class fiber to the home (FTTH) network to 1 million households of Nepal by 2020 AD. The company aims to provide fast, reliable, and affordable internet and next generation IPTV services to all urban and semi-urban areas including all the major settlements of village bodies. Currently, it has more than 100 thousand high speed broadband users all over Nepal covering 63 districts, and has more than 30 branches and 60 contact offices spread all over the country.

Worldlink, a pioneer and market leader of Internet services in Nepal, has been introducing latest technologies in a reliable and affordable manner for the last 21 years. The company has already invested NRs 3 Billion, and it is further planning to take the investment to NRs 7 Billion in next three years. For this, Worldlink has tied up with Nokia Networks, Juniper Networks, and Cisco Systems for the country’s first multiple of 100 (Gbps) Gigabits per second capacity network in Kathmandu valley and to all other major cities of Nepal.

In order to provide the best of the best in FTTH, it has also signed a massive-agreement with Nokia to deliver client-end optical network terminals (ONTs) and optical line terminals (OLT). French company ‘Alcatel Lucent’ (now NOKIA Networks) is regarded as the market leader in optical networking technology world-wide.

Worldlink in partnership with NETTV, also provides exceptional quality IPTV service with more than 40 HD channels, one week of time-shift viewing, and other global over-the-top (OTT) content that can be watched in multi screens like Mobile, Tablet and Laptop computers.

Likewise, Worldlink is the first service provider that opens from 6 AM till 7 PM all days a week with exceptional after-sales support throughout Nepal. As a part of its service offering, WorldLink also provides intuitive self-service web portal and innovative customer mobile app to its customers to manage, monitor and receive support services easily.
