Global IME Bank Limited has provided financial assistance of Rs. 10 million to the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health.
As part of its corporate social responsibility, the bank contributed to constructing a children’s hospital under the Child Health Institute.
An agreement has been signed between Ratnaraj Bajracharya – CEO of the Bank, and Bhagawan Koirala – Founder Chairman of Kathmandu Institute of Child Health, to provide financial assistance.
The Bank Bajracharya said that Global IME Bank has been moving forward with a special focus on social welfare work. Since its inception and that he was very happy to collaborate with the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health in this socially useful work.
He said that the current Covid-19 outbreak has made it important to invest heavily in health infrastructure such as hospitals. Adding that such assistance in the construction of the hospital building will help in the future in providing simple and affordable health services.
Dr. Koirala said that the Kathmandu Institute of Child Health plans to construct a multi-specialized hospital in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu. To make the treatment of complex and serious diseases in children simple and affordable.
