65th Cyber Security Awareness Training conducted at Janaprabhat Higher Secondary School, Kalimati, Kathmandu by Rajeshower Ghimire.

Kathmandu, Nepal, April 30, 2017 – Cyber Security International conducted a program at Janaprabhat Higher Secondary School, Kalimati, Kathmandu. The program has been sponsored by Rajeshower Ghimire from Australia. He has always been actively involving in social and community activities in Nepal and Australia. The target group of this program was School’s students from the 10th grade.

The introductory session of the sponsor was briefed by his father Shalikram Upadhya on behalf of Rajeshower Ghimire. CSI trainer Prof. Kumar Pudasaini conducted the presentation on cybersecurity awareness training for the participants. Coordinator of CSI Manisha Ranabhat helped to conduct the program successfully. The technical training was basically focused on cyber-crime, online Phishing, creating the user account, email setting, facebook setting, find my phone, wifi setting, file locker, etc. Ultimately, the participants have given positive feedback after the end of the program. Participants were awarded the Cyber Security Basic Level certificate and the program was beneficial based on the feedback we received from the students.

The concept of Cyber Security Awareness in Nepal has been conceptualized by Prof. Dr. Ramhari Subedi who lives in Washington DC and also he is the founder president of www.dcnepal.com and the first appointed Cyber Security Advisor of Central Department of Nepal Police. The organization has been launching its awareness campaign nationwide as well as it has been conducting the program
