87th Cyber Security Program at Bachheuli Higher Secondary School, Tandi, Sauraha Chitwan, Nepal sponsored by Mr. RamsaranMahatto from Leuven, Belgium.
Washington DC, November 11, 2017 – Cybersecurity and awareness program sponsored by Mr. RamsaranMahatto from Leuven, Belgium was conducted at Bachheuli Higher Secondary School, Tandi, Sauraha Chitwan, Nepal. The awareness program was organized by Mr. Dinesh Bhandari and Ms. Pooja Gurung Coordinator of Cyber Security International.
The program was organized at the school. Over 250 participants which included the students and teachers from the Bachheuli school took part in the program. Cyber Security Trainer of Cyber Security International Ms. Pooja Gurung conducted the program. At the end of the program students and teacher provided feedbacks which were collected by Ms. Muna Bhatta. The feedback will be used to improve the awareness program in the future.
The awareness program focused on a wide range of topics that included: how to be safe online, mobile phone security, phishing sites, Facebook, Gmail hacking, fake email, Wi-Fi security, computer security, IP address tracking, dangerous websites and so on. At the end of the program, the participants had been given a clear idea about the increasing threats in cyberspace with several examples of spam, phishing and fraud social media activities and so on.
The ‘Cyber Security Awareness Program’ conducted by Cyber Security International is a nationwide awareness campaign, where various experts and trainers from the IT field conduct pieces of training and discussions on cybersecurity issues, types of cybercrimes, challenges in cybersecurity, and how to protect your data from any possible cyberattacks.
